The Lexy Baker Series is full of classic whodunits with a contemporary twist. Sort of like an old-school village mystery. It's fast-paced, witty and cozy.
Lexy owns a bakery so there is lots of baking and her grandmother, Nans, and three friends join in on the investigations. There's lots of shenanigans and laughs, but Lexy and Nans always get their man!
Lexy's cute Shih Tzu mix, Sprinkles, joins in and there is a slow romance (nothing graphic) with her neighbor Jack who happens to be the homicide detective.
